It was during the time Bitten Stetter still did university that she arrested attention of the famous agency Girault Totem from Paris at a fashion show in Hamburg. The agency was taken with her way of style and wilful design. Only a few months later Bitten Stetter had the possibility to present her first collection in Berlin and Paris in 1999. A publication in the English design & art magazine "TANK", the outfits for the Sven Väth video "Dein Schweiß" and some design awards like Red Dot Award and Unilever Award "Marken & Kunst" reinforced the plan and the dream of her own brand.
As one of the selected designers of MTV's Designerama, a German fashion format to support up-coming fashion designers, she presented collections especially designed for MTV, next to her own collections in cooperation with high fashion shops in Germany in 2003-2004. The creative output of Bitten Stetter combined with a keen sense of commercial demands in a social and cultural context is the decisive factor for the national and international success in the last eight years.
